As a guest at Amangiri, I photographed the property and designed a small ‘take-home’ keepsake photo book of the resort and sent it to general manager, interested in the book as a turn-down gift on beds for guests. A second book was submitted to Aman Resorts founder, Adrian Zecha who was pleased how his place is such an inspiration and led me to Trina Ebert, his Executive Director who I remained in contact. While traveling to Singapore, I arranged an in-person meeting with Trina Ebert, at Aman’s International headquarters to introduce myself and share my portfolio which was very successful. I was then encouraged to visit their Amankila property while in Bali and meet with Claudia Schwarze, their general manager who shared her insight as we toured the property.
