Room” was subsequently renamed “Cozy Corner” based on the results
of an employee naming contest.
The Quiet Room is an enclosed
space, distanced from main traffic
areas, where employees can take
a moment during the working day
to relax, have a break, meditate,
pray or simply ‘take stock’ without
the distractions of office life and
without interrupting the operation
of the organization.
Create a beautiful, tranquil space
to serve as a temporary sanctuary
where employees can take a moment away from the daily stresses of the fast-paced, high-tech world. Work to incorporate contemporary furnishings,
earth tone colors and abstract
art to support this effort.
With clear guidelines on design
and use, managers and employees
understand the purpose of the space. The "Quiet Room" has become a significant company asset. It is a visible, major investment in staff well-being
and a key resource for productivity and staff retention.
Located on the 3rd floor of People's United Bank Corporate Headquarters, Bridgeport, CT.
Collaborated with interior designer and Credit Card team to create the "look and feel" for the interior space.
